I contemplate too much. I have too many things i want to have, i want to do, i want to be skillful at... (the list goes on).
2nd year into college and I already feel old. It seems like tomorrow will be the day i have to step into reality and pursue the professional i want to become and start making those big bucks. But, oh geez, looking at how competive my gpa is, my experience, my leadership, how in the world will i be able to compete with those high-achievers/perfectionist for those wanted positions out there. More I think about, the more i consider adapting new skills to improve my resume. I already have a back-up plan: i'm planning to get certified for piano-tuning (SOON), so in the worst-case scenario i will be tuning pianos for a living (i just hope upright and grand piano are not slashed into the antique (outdated) category then i might need to be adroit on digital music).
my future choices: Dr. sandi chiu - oh, i really do aspire to become a doctor:M.D. O.D or DC? *Chiropractor- oriental medicine+D.C. entreprenuer - starting a business and making it international music creator - composition, performance (learning how to us technology to develop songs) governmental occupation feng shui master scientist - researcher probably for nutrition nutritionist senior manager in a big company - or marketing director, finance (banks)...etc stock investor

| The bubble burst today. After 3 weeks of non-stop adventure and memorable times, i come to realize that school is in 2 days. Oh i am dreading those 8am classes already but I am excited for the BIKE i'm bringing. Let's start with what burst the winter vacation mood: the moment i start getting massive amount of emails in my account saying UCLA jumpstart career and UCLA blah blah blah then from clubs wishing us luck for a new beginning quarter. Wow, 3 amazing weeks have already passed. I can't believe that the moment my inbox starts filling up my adrenaline starts pumping. Feels like my inbox have become analogous to the way my body functions. Now i'm sitting in front of my laggy, yet durable laptop reminiscing things i have accomplished and things i have tried for the first time in the year of 2006 & winter break.
looking back into the year: - both online and in class summer school instead of HK vacation - first summer job and work-study job - first bf - first time yelling and screaming in the car - purchased my first keyboard, my first guitar mini - spent a lot of my own money - outdoor camping - driving to vegas and peeing behind a trailer - living in the residential area in vegas instead of the strip - obsession for hats, sunglasses and socks - rearranged the furniture in a triple room dorm (like rearranging the sardines int he box) =) - confused why sometimes grades don't reflect the learning. - love is simple yet sophisticated to grasp - went down my first long snowboard slope - first all-nighter shopping on black friday at the outlet (all nighter for shoppin.. wow) - new Canon Sd600 camera - Singing on 3rd street and earned 5 bucks - IM coed b-ball - picking up tennis in the dorms - etc.. too many to list
Winter break: - Izze addiction - bought a guitar package for 199$ and attempted to learn it - bought my snowboarding gears (under 200$) - yum cha with tennis people - pho-ing with the buddies @ saigon flavor - tennis reunion - fogata mexicana 1$ fish tacos - many many movie nights and a great night of laughters (also many emotional nights) movies i've watched this winter break: = Curse of the GoldenFlower = Pursuit of Happiness
= Devil wears Prada = Love Actually
= Cars = Rob-B-hood = Hitch = XXX
= The Myth = "chicken talks to ducks"
= all time favorite: white chix = Stephen Chow's "sick sun" = Chinese Soaps: fei teen hey she, do cheung phone wun, - countdown to x-mas singing 12 days of x-mas - countdown to new years at vegas, freezing in front of ceasar palace, all you can eat japanese food - big snowboarding group @ mt high - bball games @ macy - tennis @ macy - Shabu Shabu night - Snowing at the grove - Aaron's Reunion party - Outlet shopping at Vegas - Secret Santa party - Tennis and good spring rolls in OC - Spring Rolls are snack day - Mochi Ice Cream - Circle Chocolate Cake - Bowling Nights and Morning attempts - almost maxing out on my credit cards - K-town 5.5 pho - Donut shop jelly drink - 9am SAT reviewing/tutoring almost everyday - mahjong - new vaccum cleaner x0 - Seeing all my cousin in LA - SF cousins came to visit - a good conversation with an uncle who i never really talked to (to succeeed is to know how to learn from failures and not repeat them again)
Thank ful for every one who made my winter break so enjoyable and fun.
